National Corvette Museum
The National Corvette Museum is a showcase to America's sports car.  Start your tour with a short film about the history of the Corvette and the Corvette Museum.  As you walk though the museum you'll see exhibits featuring over 70 Corvettes in periodic settings including a mid-century barbershop, service station and dealership.  You'll see Corvette prototypes, one-of-kind cars, and racing champs.  Enjoy hands-on activities in KidZone , trivia kiosks, and the "Corvette Cave In” exhibit.  This exhibit takes visitors back to the early morning hours of February 12, 2014 when the earth opened up inside the Museum’s Skydome, swallowing the classic Corvettes.  The Museum's Skydome offers a glimpse of the size and depth of the sinkhole as well as the retrieved Corvettes. Guests are also invited to try a Corvette on for size in the lobby. The Corvette Store offers apparel, collectibles, home and gift items.  An on-site 50's-inspired Corvette Cafe serves breakfast, lunch and snacks.

Hoping my review title would catch your eye … “not a big fan.” By that, I meant I am not really a big corvette fan; however, I found this museum stop very interesting and fun! To see the styles through the years, to see the sinkhole section , to see the corvettes waiting to be picked up by their new owners … all of those things made this a great stop! And I really liked the Corvette Hall of Fame! This was a fun stop to make and who knows?? I may become a big corvette fan after all! Very nice Museum!

My husband is a big Corvette fan. He was so excited to visit this place. While yes it had a lot of displays, it was still disappointing for the cost. We stopped and read most of the displays, watched the video of the sink hole and was still done in an hour

We were super disappointed in the museum. We drove to Kentucky from South Texas so figured we'd visit the corvette museum while there. WELL being the planner that I am I made sure of their hours. Which is 9-5. Well we got there at 430. Yes they were near closing but I made it clear to the not so friendly lady that we only wanted to see the sink hole. As if that would take 30 minutes. She said "absolutely not" and "out there is free" pointing at the 4 corvettes in their lobby area. All our followers said we didn't miss much but just wish they'd say "last admittance" if they won't let people in after a certain time. Definitely won't visit next year when we are back in town for another festival.
