National Corvette Museum
The National Corvette Museum is a showcase to America's sports car.  Start your tour with a short film about the history of the Corvette and the Corvette Museum.  As you walk though the museum you'll see exhibits featuring over 70 Corvettes in periodic settings including a mid-century barbershop, service station and dealership.  You'll see Corvette prototypes, one-of-kind cars, and racing champs.  Enjoy hands-on activities in KidZone , trivia kiosks, and the "Corvette Cave In” exhibit.  This exhibit takes visitors back to the early morning hours of February 12, 2014 when the earth opened up inside the Museum’s Skydome, swallowing the classic Corvettes.  The Museum's Skydome offers a glimpse of the size and depth of the sinkhole as well as the retrieved Corvettes. Guests are also invited to try a Corvette on for size in the lobby. The Corvette Store offers apparel, collectibles, home and gift items.  An on-site 50's-inspired Corvette Cafe serves breakfast, lunch and snacks.

We enjoyed the museum it took about an hour or so to watch the videos and go through all the exhibits. It was a cool fun place to see all the versions of the corvette. We got there at about 9:30 am on the weekend and it wasn't super busy by the time we left at about 10:30 it was significantly busier. The museum recommends you wear mask but doesn't seem to require it. Most people were wearing one. It was frustrating that they did not make if mandatory/enforce it. I thought it was mandatory until I looked at the website after our visit. I had not noticed it was not enforced. It was disappointing and had I realized I would have not have went. On the plus note there was sanitizer available everywhere and the staff were all wearing masks.

Hi Jyssica, Thank you for visiting and we are glad to hear you enjoyed the Museum. As you mentioned, though masks are not required, most everyone was wearing them to where you did not notice it. Some guests have difficulty breathing or other concerns with wearing them so as long as they can socially distance from people not in their family, they are within Kentucky's current guidelines. We do provide complimentary masks to guests who request them, have plenty of sanitizer, and provide finger cots for those who would like to use our touch screen interactives. We take great care in following the requirements for Kentucky, ensuring the health and safety of our guests and staff. Thank you again for visiting.

I am so happy I happen to driving thru and saw this place. It was a great experience. The place is huge and well worth me delaying my trip by a couple of hours to tour this museum. If you love cars and especially corvettes you have to stop here. The place is very clean and informative. And a huge learning experience,. I can't say enough about this place.. It truly was a must see.
