National Corvette Museum
The National Corvette Museum is a showcase to America's sports car.  Start your tour with a short film about the history of the Corvette and the Corvette Museum.  As you walk though the museum you'll see exhibits featuring over 70 Corvettes in periodic settings including a mid-century barbershop, service station and dealership.  You'll see Corvette prototypes, one-of-kind cars, and racing champs.  Enjoy hands-on activities in KidZone , trivia kiosks, and the "Corvette Cave In” exhibit.  This exhibit takes visitors back to the early morning hours of February 12, 2014 when the earth opened up inside the Museum’s Skydome, swallowing the classic Corvettes.  The Museum's Skydome offers a glimpse of the size and depth of the sinkhole as well as the retrieved Corvettes. Guests are also invited to try a Corvette on for size in the lobby. The Corvette Store offers apparel, collectibles, home and gift items.  An on-site 50's-inspired Corvette Cafe serves breakfast, lunch and snacks.

The Museum was great as always. The Corvette store inventory was ample with a great selection of clothing and Corvette accessories. I did, however, find that it took in excess of 30 minutes to check out with a few items that I had purchased. Hundreds of people shopping with only 2 check out points staffed by only 2 people at each checkout WT Cote

Caravaned to the 25th Anniversary of the Museum with 450 other Corvettes from Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky and had a great time. Even though the area was packed with over 5000 Corvettes, the museum was a good place to see all things Corvette related. The staff really outdid themselves and put on a great show for everyone.

Yes, this is a car museum. We were six adults that 4 were not interested in cars but found the museum to have a lot of history and drama. The sinkhole story was quite sad but very interesting. Liked that they showed you the cars and the depth of the hole. This is a hard thing to fathom until you see the display. The re-enactment to show you how it collapse was not on point. Just a bunch of noise and rocks coming down. But the museum itself with the many, many beautiful cars was a must see. One of our parties took the corvette simulator for a ride and that was very enjoyable. Pricing for the museum was also very good. Remember this is a privately run museum. They did a great job.
