Kenai Fjords National Park
In Kenai Fjords National Park, over half of the landmass is covered by the enormous Harding Icefield, a thousand-foot block of ice that dates back to the last Ice Age. The Harding spills out in all directions in the form of glaciers. Some stretch northwest into rugged hills of the Kenai Peninsula. Others—five of them, to be exact—reach as far as the sea along the craggy coast of the Gulf of Alaska.

Awesome trip… crew was great… informative, kind, and did everything to make the trip pleasurable. They made sure we saw all kinds of sites with whales also. Fox Island beautiful and dinner was yummy with plenty to eat.

The tour was great although we did not see a lot of wildlife either in the water or on the mountains. We did see a few but not as much as I expected. Lunch on the boat was ok but I was disappointed at the dinner at Fox Island. I expected salmon and maybe more. They replaced salmon with halibut and that's the main meal. View was awesome but I don't think I like the meal at Fox island.

National park tour was incredible with close up views of the glaciers and several wildlife sightings. Crew was great and narration was very informative. Boat itself was relatively clean and comfortable. Be sure to arrive more than 30 minutes early though if you want a seat indoors. Tour also came with meals. Lunch was a simple wrap sandwich, chips, and a granola bar. Drinks weren't included but were available for purchase. Dinner on Fox Island was not good at all. First of all, the experience was billed as luxurious dining; the reality was a far cry from that with more of a cafeteria style meal. Second, they originally indicated that the meal would be salmon cakes. However, when we arrived, the servers on the island said that the menu had changed and they were serving either broiled cod or chicken. Both were inedible. The cod was like rubber and slopped onto the dish in a mess of fish juice that turned the bread into a watery mush. The chicken was overcooked and devoid of flavor. We ended up snacking on chips leftover from lunch. Recommend the tour 100% but would not pay extra for the Fox Island meal.
