Awesome!!!! Me and my daughter had a ball from Margaritaville to partying on the Catamaran to snorkel, and I must say what a beautiful site, to Ricks Cafe and yes we jumped off the cliff. Wonderful excursion I just wish it was longer. Last but not least the staff was really great. I highly recommend this excursion, thank you!!

This review is two years overdue, however, I was so pleasantly satisfied with the experience with Sharyn and her team, I had the conviction to eventually write a few words to express my gratitude. For my 2016 August destination wedding at the Rockhouse hotel, it was only right to offer my guests an all inclusive cruise along the beautiful Negril cliffs with food, drinks, and dancing ( I am very particular about my music, and I was allowed to bring my Ipad to plan my own tunes). Planning this event with Sharyn was effortless, as she coordinated with my guests, leaving me to handle other bridal duties. She confirmed attendance with the guests, and even assisted with transportation services, ensuring that all of my confirmed guests made it to the catamaran from their hotels and from the airport. On the catamaran, the staff were extremely courteous and entertaining, ensuring everyone's cup was filled with rum punch, and that there was an abundance of yummy authentic Jamaican food. Several of my guests were celebrating their birthdays, so she also helped me find a cake to serve to guests. Lastly, she arranged for a photographer to take pictures of the experience, allowing guests to put their phones and cameras away and be present in the moment. Overall, this was an amazing experience executed seamlessly with a professional and personable soul such as Sharyn. She went above and beyond to ensure that this moment was memorable. Thank you again Sharyn. Whenever I am in Jamaica, I desire service that is professional, yet individualized and intimate like family. For those with the same taste as I, your looking in the right business.

SYNOPSIS/TOO MUCH TO READ? -Not enough snorkeling time and restrictive equipment makes this a bad snorkeling excursion. -Not enough time at Rick's makes it a less than ideal Rick's excursion. -Poor staff experience ruined it. -Save your $50 per person and spend half of the day at Margaritaville and the other half at Rick's. LONGER DETAIL OF EVENTS Sharyn was more than accommodating and provided very clear information and details - we could not have been happier with her. The rest of the experience was less than satisfactory. We were told to be at Margaritaville by 2pm for a 2:15 departure. The tortuga arrived at 2:45p and we departed around 3:00. Our party of 5 was annoyed but understanding (island time, etc). Just be aware if running late you might not actually be too late. We were met by a staff member who checked our confirmation and was a little more blunt and less easygoing than the rest of the people who we met on the island - I'm not sure her name but she was wearing a shirt with shin-chan on it. This staff member would be the spokesperson for the staff and frankly, the person who ruined the good vibes of the trip. After boarding and finding a seat, the group was told that the bar would not be opened until after the snorkeling activity to prevent any accidents from people who had been drinking but had no initial intention of swimming, which was absolutely acceptable. The boat dropped anchor at the snorkeling location and we were given 30-45 minutes to explore a reef. Life jackets were mandatorily tied around each swimmer's waist, which I asked if it was to protect us or the reef, and I was told it was to protect the reef. I again understand this, but swimming with a life jacket tied around your waist is not my idea of fun. Shortly before the whistle sounded for everyone to return, the rain started. We returned to the vessel and drinks and snacks were served (snacks being a bag of plantain chips and twinkies). The boat set off around the negril coast to arrive at Rick's cafe. The rains and winds had picked up and everyone huddled inside to stay warm, which was slightly disappointing. Eventually, a wedding party started singing and dancing and everyone's spirits improved, until we arrived at Rick's. At this time, the previously mentioned staff member was announcing how the boarding procedure for the smaller boat to go to Rick's would go, but was quite rude in how she addressed us. She was sarcastic and to the wedding party who didn't hear her and was still talking amongst themselves, and was very blunt about being back on the boat within an hour or that the boat would leave with or without, how to listen to staff at all times, etc. I understand that important information needs to be passed on for everyone's safety; my wife and I have been on several boating excursions and understand the seriousness of docking procedures and otherwise. The difference is that the staff person on those excursions was much better at communicating the information in a way that didn't have us feeling like children on a field trip. It also confused me that the lady didn't seem to understand that she was talking to a lot of people who were drinking (albeit, no one in my party). I wondered why they didn't wait to open the bar until after Rick's. For the record, the rains and waves eventually got so bad while we were at Rick's that the smaller boat wasn't even attempting to dock at the prescribed time to return. My party decided to skip the hassle and take a taxi back to margaritaville.
