Madeline Morbid was an excellent tour guide! We've done ghost tours up and down the east coast (Boston, Tampa, Savannah, Burlington, St. Augustine, and more) and this one ranks as one of the best. It was very informative, and our guide went into a lot of the sordid history of New Haven, not only ghost stories (but there were plenty of those, too!). I highly recommend.

We came to drop our adult daughter at her new apartment in New Haven. What to do these pandemic days that is casual, informative, involves some moving about (after a long day on the road!), and is appealing for all ages? Voila the ghost tour! We were toured about by the terrific, expressive, knowledgeable Madelyn Morbid. I was surprised how right it wasā€”we could chat together as a family as we walked the short distances around, but also were regaled with some fun ā€œinsiderā€ stories about history & place via tales of local ghosts and spirits. I highly recommend it.

The tour guide (Kelly) didnā€™t know much about the history of the city, and didnā€™t make the ghosts interesting at all. We were given obvious information that could be read on plaques on the wall (Yale buildings have a blue plaque - that says ā€˜Yaleā€™) or easily found by ourselves. Covid made it difficult as we couldnā€™t go inside anywhere, but that would have only improved it marginally. In need of serious improvement to make it interesting and worth anywhere near $25 per person.

Sorry you did not enjoy the tour. We are working on a new tour with an improved script and a lot of new history and ghosts. stay tuned
