I've been visiting New Orleans for years. Usually avoid tours because - tourists! But you need a guide in order to visit the cemeteries in the parish of New Orleans. Haunted History was recommended to me by a friend in the area. He was spot on. They were super easy to book, super friendly on arrival. And their guides are very knowledgeable. Ariadne was terrific. Answered all our questions and gave us a thorough tour of both the cemetery itself and the history of the area.

Ari was our tour guide for this excursion and I have to say, she made it memorable! First, I thought the walk was going to be long, but Ari infused our walk with history and facts of the city. She took us to different spots leading up to the cemetery and gave us a lot of information. Throughout the tour she did a great job of presenting information in a way that didn’t sugar coat the lives and experiences of those that lived here long ago, I greatly appreciated that! Over all the walk, history, and sights gave me a reverence and love for this city. Thank you!

Ari was an amazing tour guide! She told amazing stories about local history as we walked toward St. Louis Cemetery #1. She was both funny and informative as we navigated the cemetery plots, and considerate of the heat - allowing us to find the shade when it was available. I highly recommend both this tour and especially Ari as the tour guide.
