Our tour guide was late and arrived without any apology or explanation for his tardiness. He delivered a “tour by numbers” experience that lacked any engagement with the people on the tour or apparent interest. A whole family just left halfway through and he didn’t even notice.

Sadly, Lafayette Cemetery was closed but that didn't stop Frank, our guide, from providing a great synopsis of the Cemetery. The entire tour was full of history and architecture, and beautiful despite it being December and not mid-spring.

We had an amazing tour of the Garden District in New Orleans where we learned about the history and architecture of this beautiful part of NOLA. We saw John Goodman’s home, the former homes of Sandra Bullock, Nic Cage, Anne Rice, and Brad Pitt, and where Payton Manning grew up.
