Our tour guide was well informed and made the tour very interesting. Definitely worth it and great sites of the Garden District.

My husband and I had already done some of the other traditional things in the French Quarter but were interested in learning more about the other areas of New Orleans. Our guide (Shawn) shared lots of interesting (and strange) information about the very unusual cemetery and the history of the Garden District and the people who live there. We were lucky to go on a lovely day. Make sure to wear comfortable footware because there are very uneven surfaces to walk on during much of the tour!

Our tour guide was D.J. Hayes. He had a wealth of information regarding not only the cemetery or the garden district but New Orleans history was well. The tour was at 2 so it was extremely hot and humid but we were able to stop at a cafe for a much needed refreshment before starting the garden district tour. The Garden District is beautiful. I would highly recommend it. Our tour guide kindly walked us close to the street car after the tour so we could go back to where we were staying.
