I learned a lot of history and fun facts while on this walking tour, and the location was easy to reach via the St. Charles streetcar (Washington Avenue stop). I personally had hoped to cover more ground and have a bit faster pace, including starting the tour with walking right away vs being stationary while we learned New Orleans history. We passed other tour groups while walking, some of which seemed to walk further into the neighborhood, while we made a large circle and stopped at several interesting houses. Tip: I got warm a few times on this tour in December(!), so I recommend going on the tour when the weather is low 70s or cooler. Sunglasses would have also been helpful.
