My wife and I did the Garden Tour today and it was one our highlights for our trip to NOLA. The tour takes you away from the craziness of Bourbon St and shows the true beauty and rich history of this city. Our guide was Josh and he did an excellent job explaining the history of New Orleans, the Garden District, and Lafayette Cemetery. He pointed out areas of interest along the way, including the different architectures used and names of prominent citizens that have and still live within the District. He was knowledgeable, interesting and he was very engaging by displaying such a passion for his job. We highly recommend this tour and recommend you ask for Josh.

I couldn't have expressed it more accurately- the Garden District is the complete opposite of Bourbon Street while being every bit as interesting, and it is a must-see for anyone spending time in New Orleans. I'm glad that you had Josh as your guide, because he has a true gift for sharing the stories on New Orleans. Please come and tour with us next time you are in town! Libby

I have had a lot of fun here in New Orleans, and this tour was definitely one of the high points. Josh was the best tour guide a guy could ask for. Absolutely friendly, patient and informative. This guy is a walking talking history book on the New Orleans people, their culture, their customs, architecture, and the founding of this city. He delves deep into the French and Spanish roots that form the rich heritage of the Louisiana area, thru the Louisiana Purchase and colonization by new Americans, and up to modern culture. Those two hours go by really fast ! You need to meet Josh and take this tour. You will thank me later. Don't forget to tip your guide either, people. He is worth it !

Wow! I can tell from the history details in your review that you enjoyed and learned a lot on your tour with Josh! In New Orleans, remnants of our rich history are all around us every day, but sometimes it takes a talented guide to point them out, and you will always find that your time in New Orleans is enhanced because of it. Thanks for touring, tipping, reviewing, and supporting our little tour company. See you next time!
