The NOLA Garden District and Lafayette Cemetery tour with James was WONDERFUL! James was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the city and was a joy to spend time with. I highly recommend this tour to any newcomer to NOLA.

Newcomers welcome! We love every visitor that steps off the plane at :Louis Armstrong Airport and is bathed in our humid air, but we especially love the ones that are interested and intrigued enough to take time away from eating, drinking, and dancing to tour and learn about our very special city! We figure that if you chose us over all the other great things to do in New Orleans, we better make it worth your time and money! The Garden District is a jewel and so much more than "pretty houses." It really tells the story of the complicated era that put New Orleans on the map. Thank you for touring with Lucky Bean Tours and please come visit with us again!

I just want to start off by saying that Jackie is one of the best tour guides I have ever had the pleasure of learning from. If you get a chance to take a tour of the Garden District, I highly recommend this tour and with Jackie specifically. After introductions, she took the time to remember each person in the group's name. She was very welcoming and fun! The tour itself was insightful and educational. There is so much history and culture in a small area that a ton of walking wasn't required. I took the tour in April, but I definitely think the pace and shorter distance in the summer months will be even more appreciated! We started out at Gracious Bakery and ended at Commander's Place. Jackie had a ton of engaging stories to share. The tour never felt rushed, but everyone in my group felt that we got our money's worth!

Thank you for such a thorough and lovely review! Jackie is indeed a great guide, a native with an innate understanding of Louisiana culture and a great storyteller. Plus, the Garden District is such a perfect setting to showcase her talents. Rushing just isn't possible in that gracious and lush neighborhood, and who would want to with all that natural beauty and great stories? Thank you for touring with us. I am so grateful that you recognized Jackie's talent and I hope that the rest of your time in New Orleans was just as enjoyable.

Our walking tour had to be rescheduled due to weather. Fortunately for us, my husband and I were the only ones on a delightfully informative tour led by James. He shared information, stories, answered questions, non-stop for the entire walk/stroll through the Garden District and Cemetery. We had a wonderful time and truly appreciated his excellent tour. If you are wondering how to take in the Garden District by all means sign up and take the tour with this company and James!!

Thank you for touring and taking the time to review your tour with James! One of the great benefits of keeping our groups small is that when the weather is not cooperating, we can reschedule easily. The Garden District and Lafayette Cemetery are not to be missed when visiting New Orleans, and James is an excellent guide. He notices things that no one else does, researches them, turns them into great stories, then finds a shady spot to tell them. I hope you are able to return to the city and walk with us again.
