Knowledgeable guide with interesting stories I hadn’t heard before. This small group tour was great as we were able to ask questions and cover more ground! Great first day in town tour!

Thanks, Mary! We really believe in keeping our groups small so the questions keep coming. Plus, as you noticed, we are able to cover more area and New Orleans stories. That extra few minutes it takes for a large group to gather to hear the guide is saved when you only have 6-8 people on a tour. And touring on your first day is always a good idea, as it sets the tone and helps you plan the rest of your New Orleans adventure! See y'all next time!

My partner and I went on a 10 am tour with James from Lucky Bean and we were the only two there! It was absolutely gorgeous. If you visit New Orleans you absolutely have to go on this tour and you have to go on it with James. James is a local and a super funny guy. He had a lot of tour knowledge and personal knowledge of the cemetary + garden district area we walked around.

Thanks for taking the time to review your Garden District tour with the funny and laid-back Mr. James! The Garden District is beautiful, fresh, lush, and historical, and Lafayette Cemetery is so full of stories that it really is an essential part of any comprehensive exploration of New Orleans. I am happy that you and your partner were able to tour with us and we are looking forward to the next time you are in town. We would like to share more of this great city with you.

This was a great tour and our guide explained in detail all of the different types of tombs and how they came to be. He showed us tombs of notable people from New Orleans and explained why they were notable. The guide was friendly, accommodating and fun.

Thanks for the great review of your cemetery tour. I'm glad you learned about our unique above-ground interment rituals and customs, and had fun while doing it! The cemeteries of New Orleans are beautiful, sacred, moving, and hold the best stories of the characters who shaped and influenced the most interesting city in America. Please come again!
