James was awesome, really knowledgeable, and fun. He had a tremendous amount of information about the history of the neighborhood and New Orleans generally.

We had a fantastic morning touring the Garden District in the rain with James. He's smart, funny, and knowledgable. He's the kind of guy with whom I'd enjoy having a beer and lunch. He related his own experiences to the tour -- so much more than other guides who can simply recite a script. My teenage kids (15 and 17) really enjoyed his knowledge and humor. I highly recommend James and Lucky Bean.

James is counting on that beer and lunch when you come back! When teens enjoy a historical walking tour, you know you've got something special! They do not let us get away with boring stories. Lucky Bean Tours are never scripted and no two tours are ever the same. Bring your kids back for another tour with James (hopefully not in the rain). Thank you for taking the time to review!

Our tour and tour guide, James, were outstanding. Not only was James well informed about the Garden District, but he was also a fountain of knowledge about New Orleans that added greatly to the tour. If you want a close-up view of Old New Orleans, this is definitely the tour to take!

Thank you for reviewing your Garden District tour with James! He really "gets" New Orleans and thoroughly enjoys sharing his funny insights with his guests. The homes in the Garden District are stunning, but the stories they hold are unforgettable as well. Plus, Lafayette Cemetery #1 is a treasure that we never get tired of exploring. Please come again!
