James did a wonderful job giving us a tour! He added humor along with the history. My husband wasn't exactly jumping at the chance to go on this tour, and he even enjoyed it. I definitely recommend it.

James always takes it as a personal challenge to win over the reluctant tour participants! Many people do not realize that New Orleans offers something of interest to literally everyone - party atmosphere, fascinating history, natural beauty, peaceful reflection, and adventure - and we at Lucky Bean take pleasure when a guest's eyebrows go up as if to say "really?!?" Thanks for bringing your husband along on your Garden District adventure and thanks for taking the time to review. We look forward to seeing you again!

Interesting tour. Started at a convenient bakery. James discussed architectural design and history of the buildings as well as interesting facts on how the burial vaults work. That information was not what I would have guessed. We took a walk on magazine street then had dinner at commander's palace which is across the street from the cemetery.

Thank you for taking the time to review James' Garden District tour. The Garden District is a neighborhood you could easily spend a whole day exploring, and it is enhanced when you have a guide like James to give you an introduction. The cemetery and our interment practices are indeed unique and surprising to so many visitors. I hope you come and tour with us again!

Toured the garden district with James. He was great! He was knowledgeable and funny! It's obvious that James knows and loves the city he lives in! The small groups only concept of this company makes it an all around better tour experience. Thanks for the great tour!

Thank YOU for recognizing the benefits of a small-group tour! Among our reasons for keeping our groups small is ease of getting around, it's easier to rearrange reservations in bad weather, and people feel more comfortable asking questions. QUESTIONS make a great tour because everyone is participating and the guests get to learn what they came on the tour to find out. In addition, when we guides answer those questions, it helps us to shape future tours that are more interesting to all our guests. It does work, and we are proud of our progress as a small company, and deeply grateful to guests like you who take the time to leave reviews!
