The tour day is the championship day and apparently most people/visitors were off street to the bar or square for the game. So yep, i got one-man-group. Libby is really knowledgable about the stories of the cemetery and garden district. As background history and things like specific stories about those tombs and houses, she managed to put things together so the narrative is much better and attractive. She did provide a lot of helpful tips about city and could answer the questions i have. If i will visit NOLA with friends and family again, I would definitely recommend her.

Thanks for reviewing our private tour! Yes, everyone was watching the (sad ending) championship game, so we got a nice peaceful tour. I'm glad we had a chance to walk and talk together through the beautiful Garden District and Lafayette Cemetery. You also taught me a few things about family tombs in China, which I will probably end up using on future tours!

As someone who had never been to New Orleans before, I wanted to do a walking tour to learn more about the history of the city and see some of the sights. A friend recommended Lucky Bean, and I'm so glad he did, because the tour was simply outstanding! Libby is an amazing storyteller with so much enthusiasm for the information she's sharing that you can't help but get excited as well. Unlike other tours that are larger (and where you then stand out much more), I loved that Libby's tour was smaller so it felt more personalized for us, and we were able to ask questions and take our time if we needed to. I learned and enjoyed the tour so much that I booked another the next day. If you book a tour in New Orleans, book it with Lucky Bean!

My wife my daughter and I took this fantastic tour of New Orleans' Garden District on Christmas Eve. James was our fabulous guide and we enjoyed every moment of our tour. James is a super knowledgeable person and has tons of charm and experience. During our two-hour walking tour, he enriched us with interesting stories and anecdotes about New Orleans' history, architecture and customs. He also gave us many recommendations on restaurants and special things to do in the city. Thank you, James – we are looking forward to another tour with you in our future visit to the city. Bottom line: Highly Recommended!
