Wes was an excellent tour guide! I loved how this tour mixed spooky stories and legends with real history, leaving things up to the interpretation of the tourist. This was not an overly theatrical ghost tour, and I learned a lot! At one point, Wes told a very difficult and triggering story related to graphic violence against enslaved people. I was very impressed with how he prepared the group to hear the story and set the tone respectfully for understanding the racist history that lives within these structures of the French Quarter. I definitely recommend this tour, but encourage people to be prepared for the weight of this history. This can be a fun and informative experience at the same time as it is sobering and grounding.

If you want history and not some cheap theatrics. This is the tour for you! I highly recommend our guide Sean. He did an amazing job with the history, keeping your attention, and was funny.

Matt, the tour guide, did a great job of providing information - not on just the ghostly and dastardly side of New Orleans but on historic and topographic points too. He kept us fully informed and there were a few very spooky moments. Would recommend this tour as a bit of light hearted fun and to fulfil any ghostly 'cravings' you may have!
