I like history, my husband likes ghost stories; this tour was perfect! All the more so because of our guide, Anthony. This is his hometown and you can tell he's passionate about this place and the rich (and spooky) history. I would say the earlier tour time would let you appreciate more of the architecture (which I'm also very interested in), but the nighttime tour added to the ambiance. So glad we picked this tour (thank you Groovey) and feel fortunate that Anthony was our guide. I could have talked to him forever about New Orleans!

Our expectations were not met. This was more of a ghost storytelling tour rather than entering sites that were haunted or creepy. Our storyteller (Tony) is good at telling the gruesome stories and keeping us entertained. His voice is clear and consistent even in a loud environment. He also dresses the part of a ghost storyteller! I believe this tour is better at sunset/night (8pm tour).

I have been on several ghost tours in a variety of states and I really appreciate how our tour guide, Tony, made this tour feel more like a life-time friend taking us around his hometown and not a tourist trap attraction.
