This tour is a combination of both a swamp tour and an airboat ride. Your tour guide will stop on your journey to allow for photos and alligator encounters! This airboat is a larger capacity vessel with the ability to seat up to 16 passengers. This is perfect for larger groups. The seating on your airboat is stadium style seating, so anyone seated in front of you will not be obstructing your view. Each airboat tour is unique and unscripted, you never know what's going to be waiting for your group behind the next turn. Airboats are driven by a 454 Chevy Engine, bringing speeds of your boat up to 25 miles an hour. Airboats are propelled by a large fan that blow air behind the vessel. On this tour, you will reach places and visit areas which normal boats and vehicles are unable to access.

I decided to book this toot for the opening of my wifeā€™s bday weekend. Much fun we had. If your thinking about booking this tour I would say definitely do it. We seen many alligators, donā€™t want to spoil it but you may get to hold one. I would do this tour again just because of the great experience we all had. The hotter it is the more aligators youā€™ll see. So keep that in mind. I also learned a bunch.

Ernie was nice and good enough to inform us at the beginning that we did not need to take off ear protection each time the boat slowed. The boat ride was smooth and fun, it is fast. I would do it again if I am ever in town. One thing to know about this company is that they take you on tour of private land which is made of oil drilling canals. The are straight and wide and not really natural. We were not usually in dense swamp. I might consider that when booking a location. Overall good experience. We drove ourselves there with GPS and had no trouble finding it.

If you get the chance to ride with Captain Ernie, you have it made! He is very knowledgeable and found some great spots to find the gators at. Even in the heavy rain that came and went, the day was awesome! These boats make the trip a lot of fun as well! I would do this one again for sure!
