New Orleans Scavenger Hunt Adventure

Overview
Looking for a way to turn New Orleans into a giant game board? Urban Adventure Quest has created an interactive scavenger hunt that combines the fun of the Amazing Race with a three-hour sightseeing tour of New Orleans. Guided from any smart phone, groups make their way among well-known and overlooked gems of the city, solving clues and completing challenges while learning local history. The adventure begins near the downtown waterfront and takes you on a journey alongside the Mississippi River and through some of the city's famous marketplaces. From Jackson Square to the many fabled streets of this pirates' port of call, your team will truly experience it all. The tour requires approximately 1.6 miles of walking. Using a smartphone as “the guide” allows participants to start when they want and determine their own pace of play. Stop midway for some jambalaya or a beignet… why not, it’s your schedule? Offered at a fixed price for a group vs. per person pricing.

Overall disappointed in the experience. Two of the stops were under construction but thankfully we were able to use google to keep going. Also - this is 100% on your own, on your phone. You really only need one person to pay for a ticket since you all do it together and there are no humans you talk to! We will not be using this company again.

Im sorry you did not enjoy the experience... We definitely market this as a smart phone based experience with all clues and directions coming from your phone. Each game is good for up to 5 people to play. Out of the 20 or so questions, we sometimes get impacted by construction. We typically change those games once identified or make an adjustment. Again- sorry you did not enjoy.

So much fun! I got to see things I wouldn't have thought to visit. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 because one of the clues couldn't be solved because of missing plaque. If I'm paying for something, you'd think they would make the effort to change the clues when something changes. However altogether was a delightful experience and now I want to do it every place I visit!

Great way to see the city. The only thing that we'd suggest is to bring pen and paper. But otherwise this is a great idea!
