This was my first trip to New Orleans and I booked the Spirits and Spells walking tour on spec. No expectations … then … WOW … I was blown away!!! Doug was our guide .. his knowledge was brilliant. The information ranged from broad-scope to detailed and no question went unanswered. Then to top off this, Doug (and Shelby … along for the walk ), were genuinely great people !!! It’s also worth noting that we had a small group (6) and, while we saw several very large tour groups from other companies, ours was definitely highly personalise What more could you ask for !!! Thank you Hex !!!

Doug was our tour guide and he was amazing! I have done around 10 tours in New Orleans and this was by my favorite!

Doug was absolutely amazing! His knowledge of New Orleans and American history for that matter is UNCANNY - there was SO much information to soak up in his tour, and I loved every minute of it. The spell at the end, in the HEX courtyard was the perfect end to a magical night - our FIRST night in this hauntingly beautiful city. I also love that Doug provided extra information regarding all of the places we visited, and he was open to answering questions after the tour. Thank you SO much!!!
