Loved the steamboat, food, music and narrator. We learned a lot from the narrator but there wasnā€™t anything to see except industrial warehouses and barges.

When reserving tickets for the Sunday cruise (no brunch), the website had a specific accessibility question. I indicated that I was traveling with a person with MS who must use crutches to get around. As we were boarding, we were informed that the elevator was off limits due to a private wedding party. When I indicated that I made a special accessibility request, the steamboat employee was not impressed and told us the 4th level only was open to us. My friend braved the narrow steps up to the top (4th) deck, but it was cruel to put her through that.

That was not the response you should have received. A Manager should have been called if the elevator was out of order for any reason. The third deck may have been in private use and thus the elevator would not discharge people on that deck. The elevator is does not rise to the 4th deck. Many apologies that your guest was inconvenienced.

If youā€™ve never been on a riverboat, this would be a good experience for you. The narrator provided good information on the sites you were passing along the River. They had a jazz band on board, but it was hard to hear on other floors of the boat. We had a cold and rainy day, which is why I rated it lowerā€¦ would have been a better day if the weather was better.
