My husband I enjoyed this tour. While it wasnā€™t the most educational tour weā€™ve done, it did have lovely jazz music and impressive sights of the city. Perfect for spending a romantic afternoon together. Also close to the French quarter and main attractions in downtown.

Make sure you go on a warm day. If you ride on a chilly evening there isn't much indoor space for people to congregate. In fact there is only one indoor area for people to be that didn't pay for the dinner. It get's pretty crowded and there aren't many seats. The band is good but they barely played. They played for two stints during the trip. The first was as the people were boarding the ship. Then once the ship took off they stopped playing for like an hour or so and then played for the last 30 min. Not much space to dance. It's a relaxing outing on the river and you can see some cool views, but it is not worth the 50 bucks especially since food is not included.

We do advertise the music and narration on the 2 hour cruise.

It was a nice afternoon and especially enjoyed the jazz band, The Steamboat Stompers. The narration by the captain was interesting as well.
