The Steamboat NATCHEZ is taking some time off, but her sister vessel will be taking her place. You'll get the same authentic experience of a grand paddlewheeler on a leisurely, two-hour cruise on the mighty Mississippi.
In order to help preserve the French Quarter from vehicular traffic, it is requested that you please walk, if possible, to the convenient tour departure point - just a short stroll from most downtown hotels.
The riverboat is handicap accessible. However, access to the top & bottom decks are by stairs only. Please call us with any questions before finalizing your plans if you have questions on access or personal equipment.
Infant rates apply provided they do not occupy a seat.
The riverboat cruises rain or shine.

The day we went was rainy and foggy. But the trip still happened (which made me happy a different tour the day before canceled). The water was calm but misty, which made my young son feel like we were on an adventure. The band played fantastic jazz while we ate a yummy dinner. Then a historian narrated the history of New Orleans as the rain poured down outside. The whole thing had a magical feel.

It’s a bit of a cliche but we wanted to go on a paddle boat on the Mississippi with jazz . We didn’t opt for the lunch option so cannot comment . We chose a sunny day which was great. The commentary was excellent , we learnt a lot about this fascinating river. I never knew the port of new Orleans is actually 100 miles from the Gulf of Mexico. It was a little chilly so wrap up warm. But recommend this absolutely
