My mother and I had a very nice journey on the steamboat. The live music was very pleasant. We enjoyed a beautiful day with clear skies. My mother who is older cannot take the heat like she used to and after we docked she became lightheaded. I quickly went to the bar which was closed and begged for a bottle of water and told them I will pay. They two women graciously gave me the water which my mother greatly appreciated. Thank you for a great experience and to the crew!

I opted for the cruise sans meal simply because the idea of spending a river cruise indoors when I wanted to see the sights along the river seemed like an oxymoron. The experience was ok. I sat out on the deck taking in the sights but maybe because it was towards the end of my trip, or the time of day, or for myriad of other reasons, I just didnā€™t find the experience to be as enjoyable as I thought it would be. In short, my thoughts about this experience are, if you have a couple of hours to burn and nothing better to do, then by all means take this cruise, otherwise youā€™re better off skipping it. As with anything, ymmv.
