The cruise was great, but they need better processes. The first issue was that tickets purchased online canāt be used directly and we had to get paper tickets. The second issue was the photographers. They then queue everyone in line to take their pictures with the boat behind them. There was no clear up front signage as to what the photographs were for. Of course I knew they were going to be printed and sold so we just skipped that part.
Several minutes before the boat was to arrive at the dock, I was lined up ready to get off the boat. The people selling the photographs pushed their way through the crowd so they could be first off the boat. They are the experts and knew exactly when the boat was going to dock. They should have waited behind paying passengers to get off the boat. After all they had a captive audience for two hours who could not get off the boat. If they knew or wanted to get off first they should have been there first.
Then Sunshine decided to have a stroll down the gangway with her basket of photos. This is not only rude it is dangerous. There is a boat full of people trying to get off and she was purposefully slowing down a crowd. This was not for safety, but to allow the other sales people to get the photographs on the rack.
The Riverboat operators should be ashamed of their business practices.
