Did the short trip, which entails going up the river for best part off a hour then turns back and passes the start for ten minutes and return to dock. Very informative but wasnā€™t blown away. The jazz on board was three old guys who looked fed up. Always wanted to go on a steam boat, so achieved that. Was a band playing on the quay on the return which was the highlight.

We always appreciate reviews. The cruise route is 7.5 miles downriver, and the same route returning. The comments on the band will be shared with their band leader. We want everyone to enjoy their entertainment as well

Beautiful boat ride, a step back in time! Great music and energy and good food. The trip wasnā€™t on our original plan of things to do, but it became a highlight of our weekend. Very unique experience.

This experience was on my New Orleans bucket list and we luckily were able to squeeze it in on the last day of our trip. It was the perfect way to end our 5 day stay in the Big Easy. It was very relaxing and educational. I learned alot and enjoyed the history on the Paddle Boat while Jazz music played in the back ground. The only thing I would change was the dining experience. We did the brunch and while it was nice being waited on, it was advertised as a Buffet. So we were expecting for it to buffet style but the plates of food were brought to us and were not given options of what food we wanted or having the options to get more of a specific item. The meal was ok. The portions were good but the sausage served was way too salty and I couldn't eat it.

We will certainly look into the service. Usually they only serve the gumbo, salad and your dessert. - and you can have as much as you desired. Perhaps your server thought you might appreciate the full service but we will remind them.
