Our tour guide was very kind, very well spoken and patient. He was also very very knowledgeable so if you love the supernatural you'll love this tour.

Bobby was our tour guide, he hails from Transylvania and has recently become a US citizen. It was a Wednesday night so our tour was 8 people in total, which was great when you pass groups of 30 or more, you genuinely wonder how much they get out of their tour. Midweek is quieter, for me this makes a tour more enjoyable. There is no break on this tour, although opportunity for restroom breaks is given along the way. The stories are interesting and you are even shown some Vampire themed TV and Movie filming sites as you walk along the streets of the French Quarter. You are constantly passing other groups, who all appear to be telling similar stories at the same points of interest. I have done some better Vampire tours, even from this company in the past. But for fans of Vampire lore and visitors to New Orleans you will enjoy this tour.

Old stories and legends beat to death on this tour.Historical facts embellished. Heard other tour guides repeating the same dialog with some poetic license. Most of the people on our tour were very drunk and could hardly walk. I am sure this company made a killing on Halloween.

Thank you for your review. I'm not sure what specific stories or historical facts you are referring to. The tour you experienced was a 'VAMPIRE' Tour. And yes, the guides DO use poetic license and embellishment for entertainment purposes as the VAMPIRE TOUR is subject to your belief or non-belief in Vampires. Your bitterness as to whether we made money on Halloween is comparable to being bitter because a florist makes a killing on Valentines Day.
