There are 4 lines that operate and basically it covers Brooklyn, Manhattan and Harlem. These rides are fun and thrilling if you are visiting NY. But in order to be able to extract max value it is recommended you buy 3 day tour only if you can get off and on at every single point where the bus stops. They also include a boat/ferry tour around Statue of Liberty along with Topdeck pass to Empire state.

If you want to take in a lot of the sights and sounds of New York city this is one of the best ways to do it. With hop on and off you can get off and see they sights they go around to. you can add things in. But point of note the tickets for sites are just general access. If seeing statue of liberty tickets to get into base and up to crown are extra and need to be purchased at least month in advance. Night tour is fun is you want to see the city at night. Trip point. get on one of the first buses and go see statue first to beat some of the crowds.

Very mixed thoughts on this one, a great way to see New York, pick up points not very clear, very different tour Guide experiences out of 5 different ones 2 were very good the other 3 were just so annoying and rude, a plug for a guy called John Harkins who was brilliant/funny and had heaps of Knowledge a real good guy. quite pricey tickets too, which when purchased are the longest tickets ever which are just so awkward to handle. there are so many sales persons on every street corner you are just bombarded with options. anyway been there done it, never again Andy and Sue
