We had an amazing experience today. Beat my expectations . What made the biggest difference was the guide MICHEAL . He was just awesome. Great story telling with very valuable information given for shopping, dinning, attractions and explaining every thing you see on the cruise and history behind it. The best part, he was funny , engaging and entertaining all at the same time. I highly recommend that you do the earliest cruise which leaves at 11am. We tried a day earlier around 4pm and was very crowded. But they were happy to change our ticket to the next day on our request. Thanks Micheal

They tend to approach vulnerable groups of tourists, such as those that did not reserve tickets ahead of time. Unfortunately, my group identified as such. From the moment I saw people in red shirts standing in increments of 10ish feet I knew something was up. My cousin, unfortunately, told them we were looking for the cruise and had not booked our tickets ahead of time. They harassed my parents, claiming they were on "camera" and the only company running tours to Liberty Island. Their prices are twice as high as those offered by the National Park Service. By the time I was finalizing my purchase for the ACTUAL tours, my cousin had already purchased her ticket, so we didn't want to leave her behind. At the pier, they kept using the same cringy prompt asking "Where are you guys from?" "How long are you in New York?" All of this to offer a free trip to the Caribbean, which no one in my group believed. Multiple employees came up with the same prompt shortly after, so we knew of their tactics. The only thing that saved the tour was the tour guide on the boat, Michael, but he alone is not enough to increase my rating. The people we encountered leading up to the tour completely ruined the experience. I will be sure to ignore these clowns the next time I'm in Battery Park.

First of all a tout grabbed us. And we thought what the hell...what they didn't explain was that we would be waiting in queues for over two hours..for bus, for boat for another bus. The boat was big but the group was too huge for the viewing decks. The tour guide was corny and would shoot down questions if he didn't know the answers.. mocking people too... Then the music played inside the cabin was so loud it hurt. So I would advise one of the other tour groups...circle tours looked like a much better option cheaper and less wait times ...
