I have never enjoyed a tour as much I as l did this one. Bruce was entertaining and very informative. He painted a picture of what it was like as the colonies evolved into a nation led by these two great men. I do a lot of walking tours both domestically and internationally and I highly recommend taking this tour. Bruce was fantastic as he quoted large portions of Washington’s and Hamilton’s speeches and letters verbatim. After the tour was over, we received an email with several links to speeches, books, theater and TV reviews relating back to historical points he made during the three hour walk. Not to be missed.

I would take this tour again. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Bruce was so engaging and passionate about history, it was downright infectious. He’s a great story teller & a real pro. The 3 hour our whizzed by in what felt like no time at all. It was one of our NYC trip highlights. If we’re ever in the NYC area again we will undoubtedly be booking one of Bruce’s other tours (Brooklyn & Central Park). Thank you Bruce!

Despite the frigid and windy (though clear!) weather, tour leader Bruce Racond held my attention (and that of my young adult daughters!) every step of the way. His depth of knowledge, enthusiastic and accessible delivery, and just the right amount of humorous asides combined to make what could have been a very dense presentation into a thoroughly enjoyable and informative afternoon. Bruce is clearly passionate about his subject matter and it was great to reconnect with that which our country's founders established in the Revolution to make the United States truly great!
