We were given a two day pass for New Orleans, a kind gift for our anniversary, however because Covid hit the world we didn’t take out holiday. However we’re now in New York for a week and they are now refusing to transfer it. They expect me to purchase a new one around $390 and then they say my New Orleans pass will be refunded. Sadly I can’t trust them to do that. So basically we’ve lost our anniversary present from our children.

We're very sorry to hear you had a bad customer service experience. However, CityPASS does not have a New Orleans pass; it seems that you may actually have passes from a different company. We hope that they can help you resolve this situation.

This could be a great deal if you plan correctly. We were unable to take advantage of the deal because of mobility issues. As a result we did not have enough time to use the pass at the number of attractions we purchased. Part of that is on us not citypass. This is more of a cautionary tale.

We bought a CityPass each for our week in NY, as we had already decided which attractions we would like to go and see, Once we had purchased the pass, at the Top of the Rock ticket office, the first one was the Top of the Rock. After that, it was easy to book the various other options using the app on the mobile phone. The only negative was that we had to queue for the American Museum of Natural History to compete the issue of tickets although it only took 40 minutes and we had budgeted several hours there, as it was our last day in the US with an evening flight out. It certainly saved money, and also made us put a bit of planning into the holiday?
