Ive just got back from a short trip to New York with my boyfriend. We had a fabulous trip. We decided to buy New York City Pass to save time queuing and it was worth it. Tip: At the MOMA you have to get an extra ticket for special exhibitions such as the Van Gogh one that we saw, they say these are in short supply. We played dumb and they just handed to VIP ones over. It pays to be blonde!

First, it is a good idea to buy such a complete ticket. But we were a little bit disappointed that we were not allowed to go on the Statue of Liberty. They told us that we need a special ticket or reservation. So we only could go around.

My friend and I spontaneously decided to take a trip to New York last week and we had a decent time. We decided that we were going to do a whole lot of stuff in only two days, needless to say, it was impossible. Before arriving, I decided to buy the two of us city passes which worked out great until we arrived at the Statue of Liberty and realized we had no tickets to enter. We were able to speak to a park ranger who gave us the news that tickets must be reserved two days in advance...what a disappointment! I suppose it was my own fault for not reading into the city passes more but I believe that it should be placed in bold lettering within parenthesis next to attractions that the city pass entails. - just a suggestion. Otherwise, the city pass is a great deal and anyone wanting to see a whole bunch of stuff in two days should buy the pass.
