We were seated next to the buffet table which meant the people queueing for food looked at our plates to see what was on offer. It was a bit disconcerting and put a dampener on our 25th wedding anniversary celebrations. We had asked for a different table but were told by the Cruise Director that those at the window seats had paid extra for their tables. Because of this, we couldn't recommend the trip.

Quite a few NYC dinner cruises to choose from, but this one was the cheapest at the time with 20% discount. Booked while in NY, 2 days beforehand. Emailed and called the cruise company to confirm, no reply and and no answer. Wasn't sure if essential, as voucher said that confirmation required 72h. Don't know if this has been a problem for anyone, but it was ok on the night. Website allowed purchase in Sterling instead of Dollars, saving on credit card surcharges.

Seating on the top deck by window, great view all around. Table plan for each level. Easy access to all levels and outside for photos. Disco varied and the DJ good at filling the floor, perhaps more suited to party goers than quiet romantic occasions. No jacket required, jeans allowed, but most were dressed for a night out.

Plentiful food, although the guy carving the roast beef only gave a slice per visit, have no idea why as there was plenty left at the end of the evening. I hope he wasn't holding back for it to be given to the staff afterwards, or even, reused the next cruise.

Waiting staff attentive. Gratuities additional for drinks, as advised by other reviewers, but no extra for dining or crew. Nice touch that the captain saw us off at the end of the night. No problems getting to and from the pier, most people drove, only had to walk a block for a taxi.
