Enjoyable experience with the New York Helicopter tour. Professional service people. Great first time ride, great views of the city in a comfortable cabin, only five passengers which left two sets between four us in the back seats. Wife and I found only one detraction for the low volume on the headset missing some call outs on the sight seeing but overall very good experience. Bucket list worthy.

I'm sorry you both had headset trouble, the volume can be changed on the headsets, a previous passenger may have turned the volume down without us realizing. Your view of the city is entirely dependant on which side of the helicopter cabin you are on, I was on the left side and the city was on the right. I had obstructed views looking over 2 people to my right blocking the windows. Description of the tour sights is also very misleading, I booked the "Manhattan Highlights" to fly over the skyscrapers and see from above the city...you only do a lap around the water and dont see much of the city.

Hi Rebecca, All our tours are flown above the Hudson River due to NYC regulations that do not allow us to fly directly above the city. I will work to update our Viator page to make sure this is more clear. The helicopter takes passengers north and then turns around so that passengers on both sides can see the city.
