This was by far one of the best things we could have done! It worth every penny. We did a tour that was for 20 minutes up and down the Hudson river around the statue of liberty. Me and my partner were put in the front 2 seats. It was very windy and raining but it was still amazing. Seeing new York from there. We had a photo taken outside the helicopter before we got inside and this was 25 dollars to purchase. There isn't alot I can write other than it truly was an amazing experience.

Don't miss out on the heliride with Helikopter Flight Services when you visit New York, this is the must do ultimate experience!! Helicopter Flight Services runs a very safe and professional operation - and I can tell because I'm in the aviation business myself. You will find the staff to be very helpful and professional, and the aircraft are modern, comfortable and clean. Another cool thing is that you get to use those top notch Bose noise cancelling headsets on the flight, they are very comfortable and quiet, so crystal clear communication is assured. The pilot is also a skilled guide, and in between you get to hear him talk to Air Traffic Control and other aircraft in the area. Very nice, and also very reassuring for those that feel a little uneasy about being up in the air! If visiting NYC during low season you are really lucky, cause then you can schedule your flight in the late afternoon, when it gets dark, and Manhattan is at its most spectacular. Just perfect, a memory for lifetime!!

The pilot was very informative and the views are amazing! This is a must do attraction! The people are all very nice and welcoming. You have to follow their rules and do not get an attitude with them and you will have an enjoyable experience. Be patient! They will get you in and started as soon as possible. They have to get things ready so you have a great experience. I saw some impatient people and they were treated accordingly. You have to watch a safety video before going up. Your seat in the helicopter will be based on your weight. They decide where you will sit. You do not decide. All seats are good. Again, don't argue with them and you will have an enjoyable experience. Do not take pictures of yourself in front of the helicopter outside. They will do this for you. If you do, you will be yelled at. Follow their instructions at all times! I loved this trip. I got some great pictures of the city, and I will always remember it. Here is one piece of advice. When you are finished with your trip up in the sky they are going to offer you your picture in front of the helicopter for $25.00 or your picture in front of the helicopter and some professional pictures that they have taken for $35.00. DO NOT BUY THE 35.00 PACKAGE!! It was a total waste of money. They will give you the pictures on a flash drive and they were the absolute stupidest pictures. All pictures had the helicopter in them. One of the pictures even had a bride and groom in them. Seriously? I was expecting professional pictures of the skyline. If you want to pay the 25.00 for your picture in front of the helicopter, fine. It is expensive but may be worth it to some. Do not buy the 35.00 package. You will be extremely disappointed.
