Bruce was very knowledgeable about photography and the city, we learned so much and he presented the information in such an enjoyable way. Whether you have a camera with a detachable lens or an iPhone, he is able to provide suggestions and share his expertise.

Photography is a hobby of mine and I got this tour from my wife as a gift while visiting New York City. The other booked party did not show, so I was fortunate to get a 1-on-1 lesson. Zim was a great instructor and worked with my existing experience using my camera to help me work on better composition, seeing things with a different eye, and getting better shots. I had a fun time, learned a lot, and got some great photos.

This photography tour was time well spent and very enjoyable. Zim was my guide. She arrived promptly on time to start the tour, first did a great assessment of what I was interested in learning, taught me features about my camera that I was unaware of or had forgotten and then jumped into taking photos. Although I got some great shots of NYC, the real value of this tour was Zim's knowledge and passion for teaching others. Would definitely do other tours with New York Photo safari.
