Zim was fantastic, engaging and an amazing teacher. Her energy is infectious and she really takes her time to make sure participants improve and get as much out of the walk as possible. The locations and set spots were great and helped me step outside my own comfort zone as a photographer. She pushed us to utilize our skills and really was patient as we learned new techniques. I look forward to taking more tours to continue to develop my skills as a photographer!

I loved this photography tour. I learned so many tips and tricks in those 3 hours. I learned to make boring compositions to interesting by changing the perspective, capturing high dynamic range shots with auto bracketing techniques. By changing a few things, it’s amazing how your photography can go into next level. I already signed up for the next tours : Icon photography tour and nighttime Timesquare. 😃

I was finally able to get to NYC and use my gift certificate for NYCPS. Previous trips had to be delayed due to Covid. I took two photo sessions with Zim - she was great as were the locations. Zim was very knowledgeable of the city, camera types, lenses, etc. She helped me become more familiar with my Canon's settings and capabilities. She also pointed out more creative ways to shoot scenes, using perspective and different shooting angles to create more interesting photos. I would definitely recommend the NYCPS to anyone interested in photography and seeing the city.
