Four of us pre-booked tickets online to do the Downtown tour. Arrived at centre and collected tickets. Walked round to the starting point for the trip and got on the bus straight away. Luckily got seats on the top deck. The guide provided good information all the way round pointing out specific buildings and land marks and giving background information. Found his commentary was at just the right level - informative without being over the top. We got to see all the main sights we wanted plus much more. NYC traffic is horrendous so there are times you are sat there just waiting - our guide was quite humourous and filled these gaps well. Really enjoyed the trip and thought it was well worth the money. We saw a lot more of the sights than if we had just wandered around on our own.

We hopped off and hopped on a couple of times and then stayed on when we found Leon! He was excellent! The amount of detail he went into, the personal touch, humour - all excellent. I have been on a couple of these tours and I must say, Leon, by far was a cut above the rest. No wonder he's been on the Tonight Show. Kudos on doing an excellent job. And here's hoping he goes from No.2 to No.1 soon

This is not the fastest way to get around the city but perfect to getting a feel of where you want to visit. It had rained earlier in the morning so the bus was a little wet. BUT the tour guide made sure the seats were wiped down and that we had a rain poncho to sit on/use if needed. He was one hard working dude making sure everyone was taken care of before heading to next stop. He was knowledgeable about the city and made the trip enjoyable. His name was Alan W. and we would have loved to have had him again the next time we rode the bus back to our starting point. The second tour guide was judgmental and made it seem that all women cared about was shopping and the way they looked.
