The tour guide, Evan was very informative. The tour is great for individuals who are not familiar with the American Revolution and America's Founding Fathers. It is also a fantastic prelude to the Hamilton Musical as it makes the show more understandable - it slows down the rapping that some of us could not catch up with the first time hearing the soundtrack, which I listened to a few times so I may make the most of the money I paid for the show's ticket. But the whole tour definitely made the Hamilton fascination more vivid as me and my friend got to see the places where a lot of the scenes (like "The Room Where It Happened") in the musical took place. So if you have all the time in New York City, want the whole Hamilton experience, and want to understand the show before you watch it, it is definitely my recommendation to do this waking tour!

I booked the Hamilton tour as our two girls are obsessed! I’m so glad that we told our guide Greg that they loved it, (we were really lucky that we were the only family on the tour) He was a fantastic guide, adding lyrics from the musical throughout. These went completely over mine & my husband’s heads, but we were enthralled. It was interesting, fun, we were able to ask questions & discuss points. The weather was lovely, which of course helped us have a great time. Our tour lasted longer than expected, but we didn’t mind, Greg was so affable & if we didn’t have another place to visit we could have talked all evening in the Fraunces tavern. We were lucky enough to have a backstage tour of the Richard Rodgers theatre the day after this walking tour & we were gutted we couldn’t tell Greg! I would definitely recommend this tour, it helps to have some knowledge of Hamilton - more for the tour guides sake, we learned so much, not only about Hamilton, but New York.
