The Rhode Island Red Food Tour is a fun, tasty way to enjoy Newport! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour enjoyable for the whole group. We made 7 stops and sampled a variety of delicious food including clam chowder, fresh lobster with butter, BBQ mac & cheese with pork shoulder and crispy onions, mango sorbet (on the roof of the Vanderbilt Grace), sticky pork ribs, an excellent house-made hot dog with slaw & fries and wonderful toffee. I recommend the food+drink tour which includes some great beer and wine pairings at a few of the stops.

We had a great time on our Newport food tour. I visit Newport at least once every year, and even though our tour went through the main "tourist" section, I still had never been to any of the places we visited. I didn't even know that many of them existed! I enjoyed hearing about some history as well as getting an inside scoop on the town's food scene. I definitely recommend for couples, friends, groups, locals, and visitors alike! A really fun way to spend an afternoon if you enjoy great food and drink.

Would recommend the Rhode Island Red Food Tours to anyone who visits Newport! Leah, our amazing tour guide, took us to a few amazing places where we were able to try the best items on the menus! Tour was perfectly timed, had a mixture of different types of foods and you really learned a lot about the area. Thanks for a great time Leah!!
