Although the weather was not great the day of our tour -- yes, we got rained on -- we had a great time. The places visited were varied and the food at all of them was terrific. The interesting facts about the area and the walk through a very historic neighborhood was a highlight. I can't wait to take friends back to the places we visited. The tour is a little pricey but worth the money.

We took the Rhode Island Red Food Tour in Newport on June 4th. All of the food we sampled was delicious! Being Newport, a major summer tourist destination, there are many good restaurants in the area and it's easy to find them. One of the best parts of this tour was that we did not hit the major tourist restaurants We were very pleasantly surprised by the small, hidden gems we experienced. The food was excellent and the establishments had a lot of character, several even had historic significance. I highly recommend this tour!

Paula took us to six different eateries across Newport. The food was outstanding and, had we more time, we would have returned for a full meal at any of the six. We weren't hungry after the tour. Along the way, Paula enlightened us with her tremendous knowledge of history and architecture - laced with great stories. Paula is fun and engaging. I would highly recommend her tour.
