Our guide Ms. Leah Rosin-Pritchard, was very knowledgeable in the history of the area as well as the restaurants. We enjoyed it

Two people in our group of 4 received the food tour as a gift! As native New Englanders, we thought we knew Newport but...Sara (Emhof) brought us to 5 new venues and shared history we didn’t know! The food was great! She was so entertaining and knowledgeable! The ribs at Perry Salad were to die for...and the hotdog and fries at Mission were great! After the tour we went to the Seafood Festival but ended up at another tour site, Tavern on Broadway, for dinner. Atmosphere, food and service was terrific! Thank you Rhode Island Red (and Sara) for exposing us to so much more of Newport! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area!

My wife and I recently visited Newport and had the good fortune to be in town when Rhode Island Red Food Tours had an available tour. Our guide, Sara, was phenomenal. When we met at the designated starting point, Sara got there early, bot us to introduce ourselves to the rest of the group (8 people in all), and made sure to find out a little bit about all of us. Sara took us to some awesome places, and in addition to the food stops, she was a great source of information on the history of Newport, past and present. We will absolutely do this tour again, and look forward to trying their walking food tour in Boston next time we're there.
