My sister & my two nieces took this tour with Sara & it was the highlight of our time together in Newport! The food was DELICIOUS & in two instances, it was EXTRAORDINARY ...The Mission & Perro Salado left me wanting more...More time at these places & more food! Sara, our guide, was delightful in every way...Funny & knowledgeable...Sharing little known anecdotes from the history of Newport deepened my appreciation of this city far beyond its famous mansions...Sara is a jewel! I would love to have her open my eyes to other cities as well...Thank you, Sara! And thank you, Red Food Tours! PS..Just told a good friend about you & she is hoping to come with her husband in the near future..right up their alley! 😘😉👍👏

Seven of us in my family went on the Newport food tour and we all loved it. Not everyone liked every bite of food at every place, but we enjoyed learning about the restaurants and getting to taste things we might not have ordered on our own. We had a great group too - and we were the only Rhode Islanders on the tour. Leah is really a tour guide! She shared interesting info about the restaurants, the food, and also non-food-related history of the neighborhood. We unanimously agree that we have to go back to Perro Salado and Mission for sure. And I will never go to Newport again without stopping at Stoneacre for a chocolate chip cookie!

We were in Newport to celebrate big birthdays for my sister and mom and found this fun and tasty way to spend an afternoon. Sara was a fantastic guide--so personable, knowledgeable and fun to be with. We had a very fun and friendly group of people from all around the country. The tour was great! Not only did we have some delicious food and drink, we also learned some interesting tidbits about the history of Newport. Sara tipped us off to some great places to eat, but since we were leaving the next morning, we will just have to return to Newport to try them out! Highly recommend this as a great learning and dining experience.
