My husband and I were in Newport for his 60th . We enjoy doing food tours when we travel. This one gave us off the beaten track delights and our guide gave us a history lesson too! We went back to one of the spots, Stoneacre Basserie, for dinner. We were happy that the humid weather had broken making our 3 hr tour an enjoyable walk.

So much fun! Couldn't think of a better way to get the inside scoop, learn a little history, get a little exercise AND try some delicious bites at some great Newport restaurants! Well actually, there IS a better way...have Sara E. as your tour guide!!! Now you've got the perfect Newport afternoon!

We took the tour on Sunday with Morgan. She was energetic and informative. The food at each stop was very good. Stoneacre and Perro Salado were out of this world and the calamari on Tavern was excellent as well.
