My husband and I recently visited Newport and did the food walking tour. It was delightful. We had good company with us and the weather was nice. On our tour we tasted many dishes that were new to us, all delicious. The different restaurant and their cultures were interesting. Also the history behind them. We certainly would do this again. Our tour guide had a great personality knowledgeable.

My wife and I had a fun tour and ate some great food with Morgan, our guide, on the Newport Neighborhood Food Tour. All of the locations were different and there was a breadth of delicious foods. Morgan also told us a lot about the area and showed us some things we'd not seen before.

This event was an xmas gift we finally redeemed in August. I was looking forward to trying the different foods, and I was not disappointed. We went to 6 different restaurants. I knew it was a walking tour, but I didn't realize that we would stop in front of a few historical places along the way, and the guide would give us a short history lesson and share interesting details. I was also very impressed with how well-run the tour was. Sara was fantastic - very informed and easy-going, the perfect guide. And each of the 6 restaurants was ready for us when we arrived. The food was already on the table when we arrived, or was served within 2 minutes our arrival. But we had adequate time to eat at our own pace and chat with the other members of the group. Be aware - the option to include alcohol means you get the alcohol they choose for you. We were served a beer, a margarita, and a glass of champagne. (The other 3 restaurants we just had water.) I thought I was going to be able to have a glass of wine. It was fine - the drinks were actually interesting versions of each, not ordinary, and good. But I don't normally drink those things and wasn't what I expected.
