This was a great way to get an overview of Newport. Knowledgeable guide and comfortable drive. We are seasoned travelers who find, when time is short, a tour is a great option. We had a car but in a new location find it is helpful to get an overview of a location. The tour guide fills in background information we wouldn't get on our own. Our guide, Rob, was helpful and being a lifelong resident knew lots of information you'd never find in a guidebook.

This tour is a great way to see the entire town and its many mansions plus great views of the sea. However, it was about 25 minutes too long for me. Most would like to see all the homes of the formerly and currently rich and famous. I would have been OK with just seeing a few. The tour driver was knowledgeable and upbeat.

My husband and I enjoyed the Newport Viking Trolley Tour of Newport and our guide was very knowledgeable and personable. (Reasonable rates, too). It was a good way to get an overall view of the town since we didn't have a car. They showed us all of the interesting sights in an hour and a half and would I highly recommend it.
