What To Expect

The Breakers

Tour includes Admission to ONE of the following Newport Mansions: The Breakers, The Marble House, or Rosecliff. The Breakers is the grandest of Newport's summer "cottages" and a symbol of the Vanderbilt family's social and financial preeminence in turn of the century America. *As of January 3, 2022 all Preservation Society of Newport Mansions are requiring proof of vaccines for all children aged 5 and up. As of January 15, 2022 all adults must also show proof of their Booster Vaccines. This policy is No Exceptions!

We really enjoyed our trolley tour with Jim! He was a wealth of knowledge and had great information to share all along the way. So interesting to see all the mansions and learn a lot of Newport history. Would recommend!

Our tour guide was phenomenal! She was knowledgeable about the town (and took pride in it) and also gave us some facts that you wouldn't read on the internet. We were traveling with out 90 year old mother, and the tour guide went out of her way to make the trip enjoyable for her. Thank you!! My one suggestion is to explain or accommodate a handicapped person. Walking up the hill to the Marble House was difficult for my senior citizen.
