What To Expect

The Breakers

Tour includes Admission to ONE of the following Newport Mansions: The Breakers, The Marble House, or Rosecliff. The Breakers is the grandest of Newport's summer "cottages" and a symbol of the Vanderbilt family's social and financial preeminence in turn of the century America. *As of January 3, 2022 all Preservation Society of Newport Mansions are requiring proof of vaccines for all children aged 5 and up. As of January 15, 2022 all adults must also show proof of their Booster Vaccines. This policy is No Exceptions!

We had a very nice time. The tour is a convenient way to see and hear things we would not have to patience to seek out; just sit back and listen. The driver was courteous and easy going. We went to the Breakers property. Although it was interesting, we didn’t need the allotted time.

The allotted time is tough - some people take 40 minutes others could spend all day at the Breakers. We try and give ample time. Thanks for the review and glad that you enjoyed your tour!

Our tour guide Ann was phenomenal! So knowledgeable and an outstanding personality!!! Loved the route she took. Saw many beautiful homes and loved all the history involved.
