What To Expect

The Breakers

Tour includes Admission to ONE of the following Newport Mansions: The Breakers, The Marble House, or Rosecliff. The Breakers is the grandest of Newport's summer "cottages" and a symbol of the Vanderbilt family's social and financial preeminence in turn of the century America. *As of January 3, 2022 all Preservation Society of Newport Mansions are requiring proof of vaccines for all children aged 5 and up. As of January 15, 2022 all adults must also show proof of their Booster Vaccines. This policy is No Exceptions!

Ray was full of knowledge about his town. You could tell he was very proud of his roots and his family’s connection to the town. Chose to tourThe Breakers Mansion as well. Trolley tour was a nice way to see the sites

Amazing, detailed, informative, and fun!! Second time on the trolley and it’s always a blast. Would recommend to anyone who wants to know more about Newport and see the city almost entirely! Ray is amazing; he’s guided both tours I’ve taken, and he’s simply great!!

Our trolley driver, Ray was really great with our 3rd and 4th grader. He made sure that they were included in the discussion and focused some of the information to them as he described the points of interest. The Newport Mansion App that we downloaded for our tour of The Breakers was wonderful for the family. The guides stationed throughout the mansion were helpful and engaging.
